So I definitely just drank 3 cans of coke to try and stay awake and do work and I am still freaking tired.

I’m putting off inking this stuff (STILL) and doing other less important work instead :P I’m going to hate myself tomorrow.

I was pretty much almost done with this until the dumbasses in my class decided that fish weren’t a part of the environment. I thought my splash page was fine, but now I don’t know what to do. I’m not adding some dipshit little silhouette of people on the bottom like everyone else is. My goddamn professor is always preaching about CONCEPT CONCEPT CONCEPT but you know what, I don’t think you always need a concept to make things look nice. I hate people who say “Oh, this looks really nice, but you have no concept behind it, so it’s no good.” Concept is just a fancy word for bullshit most of the time, okay?
-Illustration for the newspaper (needs to be done tonight)

There was and still is something in my eye so I took my contact out to see if anything was on it. I gave it a gentle little rub and it tore in half, so I’m just like

As much as my anatomy course has helped my understanding of the human body, I feel like it’s hurting my ability to draw women! They all come out looking really masculine now. (either that or I’m just not improving on drawing women and I’m noticing now.) We’ve only drawn one woman all semester.
